Cust has a T1 with all calls going to 2 QCC's. They also have an 800 # that goes to an auto attd via a calling group. They recently downsized to 1 receptionist so when she goes to lunch or leaves her desk there is no one to answer the calls & she puts the system on night svc, The problem is the 800 #. The 0 option transfers the caller to x100 and if there is no one at the console the call just rings & rings and has no coverage which is fine if there is someone to answer it. Is there any way to remedy this?? They are using Intuity Audix. I was thinking of possibly changing the console to a DLC and have more coverage options. Thanks!!

I prefer DLC to QCC anyday.

The ONLY time I use a QCC is when I absolutely have to.

So far, that has only been once.

That being said, is there really a need for a QCC in the first place?

That is, does this extension have to monitor more than 18 lines?

If not, do away with it to simplify matters.

have you looked into QCC backup to a coverage group

Sorry should have said calling group & busy position instead of night
