I just bought a Q2444B paper tray.
shut the printer down.
I put the printer on it and filled it. restarted the printer.
It doesn't recognize the tray. It didn't come with any manuals. I don't see the paper going up.
Q. is it supose to be powered and how.
Q. what is the small flip lever on the left.
Q. What is the install procedure for this tray.
Any information you can share about this tray please do so.

The high capacity tray you have should work out of the box when the printer is put on top of it. No extra power or connections are needed. The small lever in the left side is a tray lock lever. Be careful when installing the printer on top of the tray, that the contact on top of the tray is not damaged or skewed. Also make sure all tray-locks are removed (from the inside) and the tray lock lever in locked position when using the printer. If the tray does not show on the configuration page, the tray might be defective.
