My 15 employee insurance agency went live July 2005 with the BCM50, coming from a 15 year old Executone system. Overall I am pleased and especially like the Call Pilot Desktop unified messaging and centralized/web-based Element Mgr configuration.
But on the down side, the receptionist reports weekly buggy issues of calls not transfering properly. Rebooting the BCM50 fixes this for a while.
Also, 3rd party vendor Convertec (makers of CONSOLE.NET receptionist windows software I bought), report caller ID does not pull through properly on this current software. They were sent a pre-release version of BCM50 code to write to, but something has changed in the final version.
My Seattle, WA vendor is not responsive to my needs since the original install. I don't think they are big Nortel dealers.
I'm hoping these issues improve with a software upgrade. Any ideas when/if this might be?
Thanks,
Joe
