[Q] Data Grids

Hi.. I need a grid control that a user can type an item number in the first column and information is filled in the row.. I used a listview control, but I can't seem to add new rows.. The data grid seems to work when I sent everything except the first column to readonly, but I cannot stop the user from tabbing to the other columns.. Does anyone know I can prevent the user from leaving the first column?
