Hi,
I have some months working with PERL, but I am new to pzip and whatever zip program that Unix support

I don't want to download a program and use it, I want to learn how to use it, if any one has any idea, I would appreciate.

This is it, I have many pictures display using a simple indexing script, I want to be able to let surfer selects what images (as many as you want), and hit submit and the routine should zip all checked images into a file, and let the user download the file.

Everyone knows how to gather all the selected images, but how do we pack them into one zip file using pzip (or any zip program available)?

I am kind of dump, so please point me to some clear documentation or an example would be nice

You could simply run a system command to run gzip to zip the files. That's probably the way I would do it. Tracy Dryden
