Sorry, got carried away on my acronyms.

I have a Cisco switch configured with a server vlan (holding my netware 6.5 DHCP server, and a netware 6.5 server running PDHCP and zenworks imaging. I have configured the workstation vlan with ip helper-addresses for both the DHCP and imaging server.

When I do a network boot, my machine gets a DHCP address, I see the Zenworks Boot, then I see the boot server IP correctly, then...

TFTP times out, never getting an image. The boot fails with PXE-E32 TFTP Open Timeout.

TFTP and the whole shebang are running on the zenworks server.

From the sound of it, you have DHCP and PDHCP running on the same server?

If so, you will need to tweak your DHCP server to allow the PDHCP server to function properly.

This TID should point you in the right direction

Thanks for the reply

Turns out that back in the mists of time I assigned a secondary IP address to my zenworks server and had forgotten. It seems that while most processes will listen on the relevant port of every bound IP, TFTP only picks one - the wrong one in my case. The whole imaging process was fine except that TFTP was listening on the wrong IP, which I fixed by modifying the TFTP.CFG file.

Thanks for your reply.
