Hello All:

What's the difference/link between PWS,IIS, and MTS ?

I really appreciate any short explaination or link.

Thanks

PWS - Personal Web Server - is a cut down version of IIS - Internet Information Server - desgined for Widnows 95 and 98.
IIS is Microsofts Enertprise Web Server and will run on Windows NT Server, and a slightly cutdown version runs on Windows NT Workstation.

MTS is Microsoft Transaction Services and it is a programming environment that allows developer to build transactional apllications. it can alos be used for non-transactional devleopment to allow simplified and secure deploymeny of DLLs onto servers. It is very usefull in N-Tier development.
