Hello everybody!
I have this question:
I am building a web site for an intranet. The site is hosted in a Windows 98 computer running PWS.
I published the site in C:\Inetpub\ directory.
That's fine, but I can't access the site from the others computers on the network.
Could you tell me what would be the URL for the site so I can access the site from the others computers,I mean HTTP:// ?
Thank you!

If PWS is running typing must show the contents of the root directory. You have to do this with internet explorer not with explorer. S. van Els

You may have to use your intanet TCP/IP address. I could access PWS on my computer from other computers by using However, under Win 95 PWS my directories would somehow become inaccessible even on my own machine after it had been accessed from another machine. I never found the problem mainly because the application was eventually going to run on a real NT IIS server anyway. As long as my machine could access it, I was happy.
