We are using PW ACCPAC 6.0. We are currently facing a problem of creating POs from PRs. Both workflows have been set up. Could anyone assist.

Thank you, how do i contact Systronics

No really, we purchase from Pacific Solutions.

What can I say, you didn't set it up right. Read the documentation and double check your work.

hehehe... Good answer. I have checked a number of times, read the documentation in and out.. Thus searching for help.

Thank you anyway

What is the error specifically?
Any error messages or is the PO just not being created?

Hi John,

There are no error messages. I can successfuly create, submit, and run the PR through a workflow. The problem comes when trying to create a PO out of that PR. It is not being automatically created.

My last step within the PR workflow is PO creation/flag for creation , with the Step status 'completed'. All of the steps prior to this one deal with authorisation only till the PR is finally approved.

Thank you

When you look in the event log for the RQN does it show 'success' for your PO creation step?
Also, in your workflow, the document status for success is set to 'complete PR', right?

Hi John,

Yes the event log points out that all the workflow steps have been competed successfully. when i check in the PO window the Po is created. However my query was - failing to apply further approval levels to this newly created PO, thus i had a problem. Nevertheless,
I spoke to the Paccific Solutions tech support. They have attended to my query, by saying that once a PO is created from the PR, no more further approval levels can apply (logically), which actually makes sence. Which is exactly what i was looking for, as an answer. I think i failed to explain my problem clearly in this thread. However, thank you for your feedback!
