PVSW Error Log

I have the following error that logs about every minute and I'm not sure where to start.

We are using Pervasive 8.1 server with multiple 8.1 clients connecting up to it.

Error: 116.9(or -3).0 File: E:\Shared\Powerlab\data\Err_Res.dat

I know nothing about databases, but it's fallen to me to figure out what's going on and try to resolve it.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

The system error you are seeing has been seen in corruption issues. Rebuild the data file and see if the errors go away.
Also, you might consider updating to Pervasive.SQL V8.6 as it's the current (and currently last) version of the V8 product line.
