PVST Limit of 128 STP Instances exceeded..MST Solution????

Hi my access layer with Catalysts 3750E switches execeeds the limit of 128 PVST STP instances. (140 Vlans in use now)

Now i would to reconfigure my Spanning-Tree from PVST to MST.

Question: to save further other vlans agains loops and co, is it possible to configure more than 128 MST-Groups?

MST-Group 1 = Vlan 1
MST-Group 2= Vlan 2
MST-Group 3 = Vlan 3....................and so on...

how many uplinks do you have from your access layer into your distribution/core??

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

Hi i have one upling (1x Po-Channel) from 3750E to Routed Core Layer.

Any idea?????

Then it doesn't make any sense to have more than one MST Instance if you only have a single uplink. Perhaps you have specfic needs to create that many different MSTI's??
