PVM Release 3 voicemail

I have a PVM RL3 (flash voicemail card) with 16 Mailboxes.
A PARTNER ACS RL4 with a piggy back ACS card.
system is at 6X16.

My issue is with the Voicemail. No Auto attendant setup, just mailboxes.
One particular mailbox when I call it to leave a message, it say's mailbox full. I log in to the mailbox and have NO messages. Why would it be saying it is full?
I tried to re-initialize the mailbox and it would not let me do that.

Is the Flash card pooched?

when you initialize the mailbox you need to use the mailbox number not the extension number. See if that works.

How can I find out what mailbox is associated with what extension?

administrator programming?

Log into the Administrator's mailbox

Press 1 to assign a mailbox to an extension

Press 1# to hear the extension number assigned to mailbox #1.

Press *# to back up

Press 2# to hear the extension number assigned to mailbox #2

etc.

etc.

Until you run out of mailboxes.




Personally, when I set them up, I assign the unused mailboxes to the highest extension numbers possible, so that somone doesn't transfer a caller to an unused mailbox accidently.
