my environment is a little bit complicated.
tow nodes aix boxes were set up with hacmp and the shared vg resides on the fastT700. ha service only started up on one node server A which is our production. another node server b did not start the ha service because of last accident.
last week, we lost one san switch and one HBA associated with server b.
and now we can not recognize the PVID of FastT logical disk from server b after changing the parts and changing the fastT adapter mapping to the new one.
i dont wanna mantion too much about the changing procedure.
all of them were normal without any error.
fanny thing happed after i deleted and recreated the mapping for the host group(the host group only included the server a and server b).
i deleted the test drive device name hdisk20 and hdisk21 on server b and issure the command cfgmgr, both drives' pvid came back.

so, is there anybody can give me some idea about how to deal with this situation?

To update ODM with the PVID of a PV:
chdev -a pv=yes -l hdiskx

i've got the may to solve it.
i changed the perfered controller to another one and then brought it back.all missing PVID came back.
the command redefinevg can find the vgda on the hdisk.

thank you
