PuTTY and 'more' 1

Try as I might I can't get more to work properly under PuTTY 0.58 with non-standard terminal dimensions; has anyone had any luck with this? It starts displaying half way down the screen, only displays 23 lines or so, and each subsequent page overwrites the last without properly clearing the screen area.

It's fine if I resize my window to 80x24, but I find that a bit chlaustrophobic these days. stty rows NN columns NNN doesn't fix it, nore does export ROWS=NN COLUMNS=NNN. Any other ideas?

TERM is set to "xterm".

pg is a bit tidier but you lose the nice highlights and it still only displays 23 lines at a time.

I'm using OpenServer 5.0.5+rs505a.
