Hey Tek-Tips.

Is there a way, to put text using HTML over a flash movie while part of that movie isn't being used, or is white, and when the movie becomes active, to have whatever is activated now shown over the text?

thanks

You should be able to use a transparent Flash movie with layers/divisions and play with their visibility, according to the movie's status.

Hrmm, it seems to still be causing me problems, the easiest way to explain it, is to show you, so

if you scroll over the links, you'll notice the first table cell, and what it's doing

thanks

What's it supposed to be doing?
And I see no layer/division in your html?

I want the "this is a test" to be in the space the 2nd group of links occupies...when the links are inactive, you see the text, when you want a link, it opens over the text...

so now that I have published as transparent, I have to add layers into the html?
