k, if i have a webpage and a flash animation for it, how exactly do i get it to run when you go to my site, and how do i get it to appear in the spot i have for it?

If you go to 'publish settings' in flash you will see that there is a html tab. Click this and publish it with the default settings.

Go to the html page that flash has published (it will be in the same dir as your .fla), open it so you can see the html code. Copy everything between and including the <object></object> tags and paste it into the space you have for you it. Grab the .swf (same dir as the .fla) and copy that into the dir where your page is (the page you pasted the code into). Obviously it's best if you have created your flash movie the same size as the space you have for it.

When the html page loads, your flash movie will start to play unless you have a stop action on the beginning of it.

If you want it to take up the full page then publish it at 100% under the html tab in publish, use the html page that flash gives you. There are more settngs and things you can do to make it look smarter.

Hope this helps....
