Putting Flash above HTML

I need to set up a page so that a flash movie is partly over some HTML text, if possible. After searching the net I've only seen references to doing this using layers. but since those don't stick when the browser window is resized, I don't want to use them. I'd appreciate any advice or direction on this.

An absolute positioned layer/division sticks in place... Or is it that you don't want it to stick but move?

As an alternative, you could use an iframe to embed the Flash movie...
