Hi. Is there a way to put our system (SX2000) into Night2 from a specially programmed 4025? Or, failing that, is there a way to do the same if I dial into the system remotely? We are looking for a way to put the system into Night2 if we do not have access to the console.

Thanks

I am not sure what software level is required but...

The 4025 needs COS option for - Dialed Night Service - YES

A Feature Access Code for Dialed Night Service Required.

e.g. Fac = #6

#60 = Day
#61 = Night1
#62 = Night2

There is also a FAQ for Dialed Night Inquiry that allows viewing of current status. (No COS option required for use)

Feature Access Codes that are pertinent seem to be:
Dialed Day/Night Service - Activate. . **21
Dialed Day/Night Service - Inquire . . **22

Could it be that our software is not at the required level? Do you know if **21 will toggle through all three of Day / Night1 / Night2 ? I am reluctant to test it because Night2 sends all calls to our Crisis Center - could be embarrassing for me. If I have to, I will schedule a test for weekend night shift, but we never really shut down operations.

BTW, **22 reveals that we are (and have been for a long time) in Night1 mode.

Is there a way to set Day / Night1 / Night2 on the Mitel SX2000 Server itself?

Thanks.

You will need to dial **210 for day mode, **211 for Night1 mode, and **212 for Night2 mode.

If you are unable to do that from your phone, then you will need to active the proper COS option in that phone's COS.

Don't forget to turn on the COS option Dailed Night Service for the set.

Then **210 = Day
Then **211= Night1
Then **212= Night2
