Hi,

I want to put small squares like boxes on an image. Like vertical line crossing horizontal lines. Is there an easy way do that, or I need to do one by one first put all horizonatl then vertical lines. Is there any option in phtoshop that let you do that?

thanks

beco73,
I'm confused here.
I can't imagine how square boxes could have vertical lines crossing horizontal lines.

Trojan.

You make up a small square, of the size you want, by creating a new, small, file, and putting a line onto the edges. Then you save it and use it as a fill layer.

Like this.......

Make a new 40x40 pixel square, transparent background, select all, and then click Edit>Stroke with your chosen width, (say, 5), inside, normal, 100% opacity. Click Edit>Define pattern and name it.

Then go to your main image, (think about doing this in a new layer, so you can have more control over transparency and so on), click Edit>Fill and use the pattern you just made.

The square size and widths of the sides are up to you, of course. Doing this on a new layer will allow you to put gradations, or vary the opacity and so on.

PS An image full of squares IS vertical lines crossed by horizontal ones :)
