We have a client who had the ability to place their IQ ports into emergency state via mobile. However the employee who did this left and we had to undo the setup for security reasons. Now they would like to set it up again for either a mobile or a hanset on the network.

I have the management port setup on the IQ and I've setup the DNI tace pattern for the mobile number. However I'm not sure what I need to do from here. I can't remember covering this on the IQ course at Mitel.

Hi,
I've set this up before by setting a ddi as a speedcall to the IQ port group that cn be called from anywhere. The speedcall is then programmed as a dni condition that routes to the management plan on the IQ. The only other thing you might need to do is reset the password for the management plan

Cheers, that makes sense. I'll give that a go. Will i get some kind of attendant when I dial the management port or do I have to press * or something like that?
