IP 403,

I was programming some IP routes and in error selected the remote manager route of 192.168.1.99. I changed it to 192.168.0.0. This new ip was to be an update for routing to one of our other sites. Saved config. Tried to relaunch manager and it gives me an error of EAcessViolation. I uninstalled manager and reinstalled it same error message. I don't know if they are related but any help is really appreciated. Customer is pissed. System is working fine for now.

Thanks

orlando, is it the manager program you are saying is not working at all or when you try and connect to the ipo?

I think that eAccess is soemthing to do with the PC you are using. Hsve you tried a different PC?

TheTaker: The Manager does not open at all.

kwing112000: I have not tried it on another p.c. yet but I need it up on this vvm pro remote login pc.

Escorthosis: As for the DEP Solution good idea but I am running on Windows 2000, they do not offer it the same way you described it. I googled windows 2000 dep and I came up with nothing.

Any other ideas?

Thanks so far.

The manager program needs .Net installed.
Maybe this .net install is somehow corrupt.
Reinstalling manager alone won't work. It finds .net installed and doesn't do a reinstall of the .net part.

Try to uninstall .net (2.0 I believe) and manager. Then with a reinstall of the manager the .net should also be reinstalled.
Maybe this will solve your problem.

I uninstalled the .net (1.1), manager and all of it's components same EAcessViolation (older version of 403 2.?)

I checked the event viewer in administrative tools and it gave me the following error report: The IMS(Gateway)service depends on the IMS(Voice) service which failed to start because of the follwing error: %%0

I am totally lost now.

Ideas????

Hi guys just so you know. I had to deinstall manager completely and then upgrade it to 5.2.29 and it came up.

good to hear Orland21.

I installed 4.1 Manager on my PC. I can now only connect to my office demo kit and no other IP office.

Uninstalled, reinstalled, upgraded, .net, manager, the works.

still not working, just doesn't find the system, nor can it connect directly to the ip address, except mine.

might have to get a new laptop
