Put Access D/B on notes server

I need my customers to be able to run a query in an access D/B. Is there any way I can drop this D/B on the notes server and allow them to query it.
At the moment the Access D/B contains static data from a table imported from a SQL server 2000 D/B,is there any way I could link these up so the data comes straight out of the SQL server, thus eliminating the need for updating the static table.
I have created a local database in notes and attached the Access D/B with the static data and everything works fine but could it be done on the server as stated above.

I would create an ODBC access directly to the SQL database, and retrieve the information like that.
Since you have linked an Access db locally, you should be able to configure the ODBC access and arrange the code to do that.
