We are changing from a T1 trunk to an ISDN trunk. I set up an ISDN trunk for testing on our Avaya s8710. I am trying to push calls from a specific phone number down the new ISDN trunk for testing purposes. I would also like to monitor that trunk while I make calls. Any help? Thanks.

You can do it a few different ways:

You can create a new route pattern with the ISDN trunks in it and add a single number to the ARS tables pointing to that route pattern. Use 'list trace station [extension]' to monitor the call progress.

Use Partition Routing by creating a new COR that has a different Time of Day entry. Add the new Route Pattern to the Partition Route Table, Modify the ARS tables to send the calls to px (partition x). Change your station to use the new COR.
