I want to flag print queue directories to automatically
purge deleted files. How do I identify where the queue directories are and how do I set it so the deleted files get purged? This is Netware 5.1 server. Thanks.

When each of the print queues were created the addmin specified on which volume it would reside. So print queues could be on ANY volume but they will all reside under the QUEUES directory at the root of the volume. Each print queue will have its own directory under the QUEUES directory named XXXXXXXX.QDR where XXXXXXXX is the internal NetWare ID for the print queue.

You will not be able to automatically PURGE the old print files from those specific directories from the system console without having this setting apply to the whole system. This will have to be done from a workstation using the PURGE command. Joshua Rothschild

Try this, find the directory or sub-directory you want then right click and then click Properties. When you see the Tabs click Netware Info, then check the box Purge Immediate. This will do what you want. It also works great on Groupwise Queues.
