In AutoCAD 2002 I am trying to figure a way to have a script run whenever I open an existing drawing that will set the current layer filter (see "Named Layer Filters" in the Layer Manager) to "Show all Xref dependent layers" and then have it invert this setting before getting out of the command. When I press F2 so I can see the written commands at the bottom of the screen, I don't see the text I would use to accomplish this. What would I write in Notepad? Know what I mean?

Thanks for any help.

Kurt

If you are writing a program to do what you want, you can place it in the acaddoc.lsp so it will load with each drawing. Is this the sort of thing that you are asking for?
