PURGE in commerce manager

Hi All,

Can i get some help with the PURGE in commerce manager--(Partner Manager).
Can i know whether it affects any valuable data or just the trasaction details i.e. reports etc.
The data base being used is full so can some one advice which may be a best practice like to use the PURGE from the Partner Manager or manually analyze the DB tables and see the dependencies-- which is a longer process.

Any light on the PURGE i.e what it does--what may be affected etc would be appreciated.

The answer kind of depends on the version you are using. Before IBM took over I'd have suggested looking at the PDF but they've kind of screwed up the documentation.

The two you'll probably find usefull are Partner Manager Ref Guide and Commerce Manager User Guide, 1017.pdf & 1016.pdf. See if they help.
