Hi, I was wondering if anyone here can let me know if I use a graphic file on a flash movies, is it possible to break it apart in like hundreds of pieces and then put it back together when the frame set ends?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Check the help file for SHAPE-TWEENING and MOTION-TWEENING.

(finished for the night otherwise I would've posted instructions, but the Help files are well explanatory on the subject) davdesign@pinkzeppelin.com

Someone here might have to correct me on this one, but I think if you import a graphic you have to first go to Modify and then Break Apart to be able to change the file in any way. After that it's a matter of cutting it up into pieces and using either a shape tween like this:

or a motion tween, with numerous individual symbols(the pieces of the cut-up object) like this:

Good luck, and I'm pretty new to this myself, so I hope I haven't led you astray.

p.s. if the links don't load, make sure that there isn't a space after the URL..I've been having problems with them loading.

your right Adam. All very time consuming stuff if your trying something complex. It's one of the few flash questions which can be explained to the full in the Help section which comes with the software.
