Pure Java Installation question

I have installed CE 10 on jboss-4.0.3RC1 AS on a win 2003 server. I had to change the port for Tomcat 5.5.9 to 8082 as I received "XDM" Realm logon issues with the default port 8080.
I did not install the "web server connectors" or " web component server" as per the installation instructions for a pure java installation . I installed the CMS MSDE DB.
I can connect to the business view manager,repository but, not to the CMC, desktop launch or admin launch. I have read where I need to change the url in the server.xml to point to the correct port and folder location but, I cannot see where as per the example in the documentation. any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,

As far as I am aware - the web application server and the web component adapter must be installed to view the CMC as it is a web application and needs the WCA as it is legacy from CE10 - also for those wishing to use the old CE10 desktop instead of infoview - the compnents above must be installed.

The launch pages should display regardless - so you should check your web server configuration for this.

You may also check to see that all servers/services are running and enabled - as I remember them all disabled when I did the install.

Thanks for the advise, I have more details for my inquiry.
I am able to add the example "context" per the business objects documentation to the server.xml file for the desktoplaunch portion only. with that said, I am able to view the URL crystal/enterprise10/desktoplaunch/launchpad.html
and click the links with [red]success[/red]

The adminlaunch however does not work It only shows the directory listing for the folder and sub folders.Any ideas?

I have reviewed the run.bat logs and I came across this blurb
13:42:44,842 INFO [ContextConfig] Missing application web.xml, using defaults only StandardEngine[jboss.web].StandardHost[localhost].StandardContext[/crystal/enterprise10/adminlaunch]
Would this have any thing to do with the error?

As a follow up for a resolve.

supplies the resolution...it was labeled for websphere though.
