Ok, this should be an easy one for somebody. Symantec pcAnywhere v10 host/remote is already installed on a computer and one user uses it for remote updates. I need to get a second user the ability to do the same.

What is the difference when buying the Host/Remote version versus buying just the Host version. I'm assuming the Host version can connect to an older Remote that's already in place. However, I have no experience with pcAnywhere and don't want to make a $100 mistake by buying the wrong thing.

There are 10 kinds of people in this world, those that understand binary and those that do not.

Host/Remote lets you connect to as many computers as you want to list in your remotes area.
Host only is a cheap version your clients can buy and load so you can connect to them. There is no remote feature for them.
