Sage Accpac ERP 500 5.5
We have been experiencing database locks at one of our sites which causes the PO capture screen just to freeze with "not responding" Some users had odd error messages - none of which they could remember.
We cleared obvious locks, logged off inactive users, ran integrity checks on PO & IC
The only thing which seemed to fix this was running a day end - which also got "stuck" 2 or 3 times before it finally went through. There were a couple of hundred transactions which processed. Coincidence?
Does anyone know if there is a limitation as to how many entries are allowed to be waiting for a day end to run? Maybe we are just on the wrong track.
Any ideas as to what we can check other than this? The client wants an answer and we just don't have a concrete one!
