New project I've been tasked with.
Existing site is de-commissioning their 61c and relocating to a CS1k 7.5 which currently has DID's pulsing last 4 digits to 4 digit DN's.
However when this site migrates over, the request has been put through to pulse the DID's as 7 digits and ring to the DN's which will be 7 digits as well. So basically the DID is the same as the DN 27xxxxx and therefore the site will have a mixture of 4 and 7 Digit DN's until it gets cleaned up.
I had to remove any current extensions starting with "27" first before I could create the 27xxxxx range and confirmed I am able to dial 7 digit extension from a current 4 digit and vice versa.
Issue I am having now is we had Telco cut one number of the new range for testing and pulsing 7 digits. I see the call comes in via dch monitor, pulsing 7 digits however instead of the DID ringing at the DN of the same number, it is ringing to the operator.
Noticed that the PRI's at this site are all pointing towards IDC 0, so I created a new IDC table which IDGT 27xxxxx DGT 27xxxxx, changed one of the 4 PRI's to route to that IDC table however I get the same problem, ringing to the attendant.
Site isn't using VNR
I know I shouldn't have to use IDC if the digits are matching the DN's but I am stumped.
