Alright, I know the LD command to have the TN displayed for the extensions. However, on some numbers that I put in, I get multiple lines of TNs and Im not sure which is the right one.

If anyone can take a minute to break this down for me into dummy terms, Id appreciate it. =)

EXT 2612
TN 009 0 00 08 KEY 00 H MARP DES 201
(2616)
TN 008 0 00 04 KEY 08 DES 201

EXT 2620
TN 007 0 00 11 KEY 00 H MARP DES 206
(2008)
TN 008 0 00 04 KEY 13 DES 201
(2616)
TN 009 0 00 08 KEY 02 H DES 201
(2616)

EXT 2257
TN 003 0 00 00 KEY 00 H MARP DES 005
(2008)

So my basic questions are:

-Whats the 2616/2008 symbolize?
-How do I know which line of TN numbers I use?
-Do I always use the first and last numbers to define the port? Like for my ext 2257, it would be 3 0 right?
-What does the MARP mean?

Thanks for all help, as usual.

So my basic questions are:

-Whats the 2616/2008 symbolize?
This is the phone type

-How do I know which line of TN numbers I use?
Generally MARP designates that is where the extension was originally created at, look at 2620 and 2612...this is listed on both phones..
TN 009 0 00 08 KEY 00 H MARP DES 201

But 2612 is the MARP. Also generally the first extension listed is where the phone is physically connected to on the block. Someone please correct me if I'm just totally off :)

-Do I always use the first and last numbers to define the port? Like for my ext 2257, it would be 3 0 right?

Correct.
-What does the MARP mean?

See above, unless I'm wrong.

The TN that has Marp turned on is the controlling Tn also if you noticedsome show key 0 and other shoe keys 2,13,8 etc. those are secondary apperances.

so whats the actual TNs for those extensions? please correct me.

EXT 2612 TN 9 8

EXT 2620 TN 7 11

Your setas are as follows:

EXT 2612
TN 009 0 00 08 KEY 00 H MARP DES 201 (2616)

EXT 2620
TN 007 0 00 11 KEY 00 H MARP DES 206 (2008)

EXT 2257
TN 003 0 00 00 KEY 00 H MARP DES 005 (2008)

Usally the MARP will tell you the main set but not always. Alway look for the Key 0 appearance of the DN. If the DN appears on any key than 0, it is probably not the main set for that DN. Unless that is you have several DN's on a single phone.

marp is the tn that controls that number.. if a user has a problem with dn 2620, make sure that they have the marp and it is there key 0 if possible..
EXT 2620
TN 007 0 00 11 KEY 00 H MARP DES 206
(2008)
TN 008 0 00 04 KEY 13 DES 201
(2616)
TN 009 0 00 08 KEY 02 H DES 201
(2616)

if all three sets forward there phone to a different number, only the user at 7 11 will control the forward.. he has the smaller 8 button set, and the marp in this case.. if you need to change a marp

Code:
chg
2616
9 8
echg yep
key 2 scr 2620
  MARP yes

that would change the "ownership" of that number

What I need to do, is setup the "forward to voicemail."

I got a handful of other things to try down there, so I'll post how it goes.
