pulling data from relational tables

Hi guys.. how can i get data from relational tables in a database.. for example i have a one to many relationship between two tables, how can i get data from both tables? thanks in advance.

SELECT * FROM table1 t1 INNER JOIN table2 t2 ON t1.pk = t2.pk

pk being the link between the two tables, or the Primary Key.
