Hi,I am currently using Crystal Reports XI pulling data from a SQL Server 2000 Database.

I have 2 reports virtually the same but pulling the data from 2 different SQL Server Databases.one on our site and the other is pulling data from a remote site SQL View.

Is is possible to combine the 2 reports, maybe having one report and a sub report of the other?

Also on the report I have a field called PartNumber, Is it possible to pull a value of RRP from a Excel Spreadsheet and input it into the said report based upon where the RRP = PartNumber

Regards

All of that is possible.

Since you already have them designed, first, save copies.

Open one of the reports amd right click the report footerand select insert section below.

Now use Insert->Subreport on the report and place the other report into the Report Footer.

As for the Excel data, how youdothisis predicated on WHAT section the part number is in the report, if it's in the details, then you'd need a subreport in the details, in which case performance will be severalyimpacted, so please post specifics.

This should always be the case with any post, include where things are required within the report, wedon'tknow if part number is a onetimething and the report is used to gather information about a part number, or if there are different part numbers that you're showing various information for.

But again, it's the subreport that will be usedifit's a one time thing, but you'd be better served to use DTS to import the Excel sheet into the SQL Server database and use it as a reference table.

I have a question along these lines as well...

I have a report in CR XI that utilizes two stored procedures as its datasources. Each of these procedures reside on separate SQL 2000 servers. I have setup the table linking with a left outer join one identical field in both procs. However, after refreshing the report, data from the second proc is displayed for only the first match in the report. I have verified the results set from both of the procs and there are several matches. Any thoughts?

I have tried using a subreport to accomplish the same result, however, the resulting report is just too slow to be effective.
