I NEED TO BE ABLE TO ALLOW MY USERS TO PULL A RECORD INTO A FORM BY ENTERING THE FIRST NAME OR THE LAST NAME. THEY ALSO WANT TO BE ABLE TO CHOOSE WHICH RECORD THEY WANT BECAUSE THERE ARE GOING TO BE MORE THAN ONE RECORD WITH THE SAME FIRST NAME OR THE SAME LAST NAME. THESE FORMS ARE USED TO ALTER PREVIOUS RECORDS IN THE TABLE. THANK YOU FOR ANY IDEAS.

You could base the form on a parameter query, which can prompt for both First and then last name, or for the one you prefer. you can use the form wizard after you create the query. Play a little bit with which layout you prefer: tabular, columnar, datasheet or continous. sincerely, it all depends on how many records.
