Is it possible to run a shortcut through a published application?

A shortcut to what? (folder, link, or something else?)

there is a .exe file on my citrix servers, but there has been 2 shortcuts created off the .exe file to point at different databases in a string command. i want to be able to publish the shortcut file and not the .exe

hope this makes sense

simply place your .exe-call in a start.cmd script and publish that.
