Publusher- Cant add text to table

Hi

I have created a master page that includes a table, however on the normal page it will not let me add text to the table. I can add a text box, however this is a bit long winded and will result in stuff not being aligned unless I am very slow and careful. I just want to be able to click on the table and enter text as normal. I don't want to add the text on the master page, as I need to use the master to enter different text on each normal page. Is there a setting in the master page or something that I am missing?

If you want to be able to enter text in a table, on a normal page, then your table must exist on THAT page.

A way to do what Skip suggests would be to create the blank table on a normal page, and then add additional pages, replicating the normal page with the table for each new page. That way each page has a table, which you can add data to, easily.
