publishing reports on the web

Hi Friends,
I have a question that How can i Put the reports which i created in Impromptu Administrator on the web
Pleaz help me I am very new to Cognos.

Impromptu allows you to export your reports to either a PDF file format or a HTML format. I suggest you look at the PDF format first of all. Gary Parker

Use the CDS builder to package the impromptu reposrts, the catalog and all surpporting files, for use with impromptu web reports in a posting folder om IWR server. Then use Impromtu Web Report-Report Administration utility to publish the reports To Upfront Portal, which is web-based cognos utility to provides end users with a single, Web-based point of personalized access to Cognos business intelligence information and non-business intelligence content.

I have some reports that were created in PowerPlay version 6. I also have Impromptu 6. I would like to publish these reports on the web. I read that I can publish Impromptu reports as HTML and then link these up on my website... but how do I get PowerPlay reports into Impromptu in order to publish them?

I don't have IWR or Upfront software.

Powerplay reports are published from the powerplay application not impromptu.

File menu - Publish as HTML

Parker is right.
Notice that it's possible that U'll have to create a folder for each Impromptu report & Powerplay Report in order to have them a little bit organized.
I dont remmeber exactly on Impromptu but at least in Powerplay when U publish a report as HTML, some HTML files are generated depending on the pages contained on it.
Be aware that the one U need for linking is the one named index.htm or whatever.htm

Place them on Ur web server and try.

If you are using Series 7 version 2, you will now have the option to publish to Upfront directly via Impromptu administrator.
