Hi,
I took Tek-Tip's advice and checked the entire Flash 'resizable' section and could not find my question answered.
My question is: When I publish my movie, I made it by percentages (100% x 100%) and it looked fine when I previewed it in the IE browser but when i resize it down to say a pretty tiny window, I can see my hidden graphics on the outside of the stage! It looks alright when fully opened but what if someone just wanted a smaller window to view it through. I think I've tried every setting scenario possible in my Flash 5 app. I can feel that I'm missing something very easy, perhaps an html tag or with the settings in Flash. I know Tek-tips experts know the most that I've found on Flash. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I would really like to know. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

from tons of experience just like yours, take my advice and don't have it scaling..the only way you can be sure of what it's going to look like is to set your movie in a table with the dimensions the same as you swf..if your movie is embed inside a table you can have five million things on the outside of the stage that will never show up anywhere..

good luck..

If you do want to have it scaling though, force it to the sides using margins (set to 0) in the body tag of your html and select exact fit from the html publishing settings under scale. I have used this and not ran into any problems with it (not saying there aren't any though).

But, all in all what Carl say's is a good suggestion - stick it in a table and have it at one size, not resizable - it does look much better anyway (my opinion)....
