publishing prblm for mac standalone player

I am creating a cd presentation on my pc that must run on Mac and PC platforms. I have it nailed for the PC with an autostart and the whole nine...
The problem starts when I try to bring the hqx file over to my mac os9. It does not recognize the file and wont play it. I am worried because this cd has to play on both platforms.

Any help out there?
Would it be pushing my luck to ask for any suggestions for a autostart for the Mac as well? I dont know if my autostart will work for both the mac (because of my initial problem)

I am currently trying to get a Flash 5 movie to play with an autorun file from a cd on other computers. Can you provide some instruction on how to get the movie to play from CD? at Full Screen size? not in a browser? Are you using the projector?

To help with your question...page 321 of the Flash Book gives instruction for publishing options. It says:
Although you can create a Mac version projector using Windows, you must also use a file translator such as BinHex to make the resulting file appear as an application file on the Mac Finder...
