I have MF 1.8 that runs on Wins2000 server. I published an application to the web, it works internally (intranet) but cannot be accessed from the outside network. I use IIS5 at different box, and my web serser is open (no proxy behind it). What is the possible problem? Thanks.-

Are you using a second NIC to get to the web? If so, you need to set an alternate address on the MetaFrame server to reflect the external (web) address. Open a command prompt on the MetaFrame server and enter:

ALTADDR 00.00.00.00 /SET (substitute the address)

There is also a setting that needs to be made in the .ICA file for the app. I can't remember the exact syntax but it goes something like:

USEALTADDR=1 (Check your documentation)

Hope this helps... Bill

Voyager1,
I use only 1 NIC on my Citrix box. The IIS5 that has 2 NIC runs on another box. Thx so much for your respons.
