I came accross the posting thread48-827326 sometime ago. I've just tried publishing the Control Panel.

e.g. C:\windows\system32\control.exe "rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL" and variations of, I can't seem to get it to work.

I'm obviously short of a few brain cells this morning :¬)

Any help gratefully appricated.

Hello and long time no see, same could be said of me.

I would be using "C:/windows/system32/Control,exe something.cpl"

I think I did that ages ago, though I am rusty on this now.

Thanks.

I've published the .cpl's I thought handy. I have published the mmc console which gives me access to some of the Control Panel functions, so I'll have to make do with that.

BTW I also came accross this in my travels, which shows you how to publish Print Manager.

"C:/windows/system32/Control,exe" Should do the job, try it from a command line and Control panel should just pop up, I used to use it in 3.51 and 4.0 rather than pointy clicky trhough. It was easier to do Start Run .....control

Lazy sod that I am.
