I have a stupid question. I recently took over management of my company's Metafram XPe farm. The previous admin promised some of our developers to publish an application that is not located on a Citrix server. As far as I know that is not possible. Am I wrong is it possible to publish an application that is not installed on a Citrix server?

Yes you can, however if there is a clienty bit, I would be installing that on the server.

Here is a way to do it as they suggested.

Create a batch file that maps a drive to the .exe, and then runs it.

Publish the batch file.

Tada, actually I have done that on many occasions and works fine. Sometimes you have to "Start" the exe to get rid of the DOS box.

[blue]Arguably the best cat skinner around ! [/blue]

Cheers
