Hi,
I am wanting to Publish Alert manager into our Active Directory to resolve a Mcafee issue with the Virus Scan Console (Scan32.exe) not starting on our client Win2K PC's. The other way of resolving this is to rename the file C:\program files\common files\network associates\mcpal\adslokup.dll to something else on all client PC's so they don't search for Alert Manager in ADS. The easier option is to Publish Alert Manager into ADS but given my experiences with Mcafee I have no confidence this wont potentially effect other objects within ADS. I would really appreciate any feedback form anyone who has Published Alert Manager in the past.
Thankyou
Shane
