When designing a document while on screen publisher looks fine I have several clip art pictures layered over each other. When I print the file the printer prints the document on several pages putting a layer on a separate page. This problem is not document, machine, or printer specific as I have tried this on several printers and documents. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This is just a guess. Are you working with a web page? In any case go to Tools / Design checker and see what pops up. You may be surprised.

<a href= temporary Vorpalcom home page
Send me suggestions or comments on my current software project.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not working on a web page

I'm not sure why this is happening to you. I wish I had a good MSPUB answer. If design checker doesn't see a problem with your layout you might want to try bypassing the problem by getting creative (this doesn't answer the original question but similar solutions have helped me knock out the hard-copy when I needed results now.)

Make sure your clip-art is positioned correctly, hide "boundries and guides", copy the screen to the clipboard and paste it into a graphics program (hopefully, one like PSP where you can use a transparent background). Select an area, copy it to a new image, save it and load it into a picture frame in your publication.

Since the layered clip-art only seems to be intended to create a larger picture, why not create a larger picture from the clip-art?

<a href= temporary Vorpalcom home page
Send me suggestions or comments on my current software project.
