Published Desktop Audio Problem

I publish a locked down Citrix desktop to my users via the web interface.

Here is my problem:

On the published desktop I can hear streaming audio from the internet fine. However, when I insert an audio CD in the local computer CD bay, Windows Media Player, iTunes, RealPlayer etc will not play them. I can see the files on the local computer as the local CD drive reads the CD, but they will not play.

Is there a way for a user who receives a published desktop to insert an audio CD and play it.
