This is my forst experience working with Citrix> We are running Metaframe XP 1.8. I have published MSWord and created folders for each user on my database server. When clients log in and try to open word we get the following error, "the application must be installed to run,please run setup from the location from where you originally installed the apllication." Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like Word wasn't installed in change user /install mode - if it's an early version of Word, and you're running MetaFrame on NT4 TSE, you may have omitted to run the Application Compatibility Scripts.

So presumably you used the TRANSFORMS= statement when you installed, to point to your *.mst file? CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
