Published Applications

Hi. Recently, out of the blue, 2 remote stations cannot connect to their published applications via citrix (metaframe 1.8 on Windows 2000). When launching the program, they receive the error:

"*application*" failed to start.

The Citrix Server is unable to process your request to start this published application. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.
__________________________________________________________


This happens on only our pc's at the remote locations. On the server in event viewer, there are errors stating:

"The server was unable to initialize the Client Management Virtual driver (Error13)."

I tried any of the fixes that Citirx states and they have not worked. Anyone have any ideas?

I take it a reboot doesn't help?

Error 13 is pretty generic, but if this only applies to the remote site, then maybe something's changed - do they have a static or dynamic IP address on their connection? Has anything changed on the network at all recently?

What sort of stats does a ping return? ping -a?

This looks like a name resolution issue to me.
