We have had several applications that have been published for over two years and now on two laptops the apps pull up as full blue screens with no applications visible or login connection box. It works correctly on other laptops and workstations. I tried changing the login information to see if it was specific to user. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled newer version with no luck. The user claims nothing happened to the laptop or has been installed to cause a change. Has anyone seen or heard of this? Thank you

Doris,
Have you tried to publish out a test application (like notepad) and see if you can connect to that application with these 2 laptops?

It almost sounds like an issue with TSCAL licenses but I would check the connection preferences to look at the resolution configuration.

You might want to have them connect at a lower resolution to see if it does clear up and go from there.

Hope that helps.

HI i Know it is a bit late to replay to this :).

But anyway if you didn't get this fixed i had the same problem on my servers..

I fixed it by doing this , think it will do the trix for you to:

On the client do this change ( i did on the server beauce we have remote desktops ;):

1. click start, click run, type regedit, and the ok
2. In reg editor, locate and click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOACL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Ctxhook\AppInit_Dlls\Smart Card Hook
3. In the Right-pane, locate and double-click the FilePathName registry entry
4. in the Value data box, locate and rename scardhook.dll to scardhook.dll.old.
5. quit regitry Editor
6. restart the computer ( this is microsoft you know ;)

hope this helps...

Cheers

Thanks, that was it. We figured out the Smart Card service a while back but it is nice to know that people are out there trying to help!
