Hey all, I found this thread very usedful: thread48-995748 This is exactly what I want to do and have done it. What I don't like is that my users can still navigate to the C:\ on my Citrix server. I don't want them to be able to do that. I'd like to just give them access to the specific "M:\", is there anyway to do this?

Hi,

if you use W2K3 there is an ready to use GPO you can assign.
You can hide drives and you can disable access to drives additionally.

Thank you so much, I found your response very helpful. I've now hidden almost everything, except the Control Panel, I do not see any options to hide that. Any suggestions? Thanks again...

Yoou can disable access to the Control Panel through Group Policy as well. I would create a local policy for the TS though and disable access to that Control Panel. Otheerwise they might not see their own control Panel.

Hi,

when configuring a local policy you don't have a central point of adminstration. Furthermore you have to configure every new server manually.
But it would work, of course.

It is possible to configure a GPO in a way that it is only used when a user logs in to a Terminal Server.
-> Take a look at "loopback processing".

You are right of course FGR, I was being a tad lazy!!

Thanks for your help both of you. It's no problem to create a local policy on the TS as we have only a one server Citrix farm.
